The 2009 Untamed New England delivered 3-days of intense adventure in a great secret corner of American wilderness.
Teams raced non-stop through the mountains, rivers, and forests of New England. They navigated with map and compass through pine forests, wetlands, and mountains; paddled rivers fed by melting snow; biked staggering mountain passes and twisty trails; dangled from ropes on exposed cliff faces.
There we're no aid stations, no support crews, no specified "rest" periods; it was just the team, totally self-sufficient, against the Untamed New England course.
