About the Author
Karen Godfrey art4health

My artwork represents the mysteries of life. Some of my imagery comes from dreams, while others are more intuitive and symbolic of the life, death, rebirth cycle you see in nature. In the wild, peaks and valleys are met with grace and courage. Humans can learn from nature and how to live in this manner. A lot of my artwork focuses on the night. As Clarissa Pinkola Estes writes, “Night is when we are closer to ourselves, closer to essential ideas and feelings that do not register as much during the day.” It is my hope that my artwork will evoke a sense of excitement over not knowing what lies ahead.
