About the Book
Akrolimano is a psarotaverna, a fish restaurant, on the sea near Chania. The taverna is a family run business. Unlike the restaurants in town that tourists go to, this is a known only to the locals.
Everything served is produced in Crete.
Work at the restaurant begins in the early evening. The guests start arriving around 9:00 and stay as late as they like, and in Greece that usually means very late.
