About the Book
The author defines an architectural space as one created by one or more man-made structures. His approach to documenting examples of such spaces is described as a study in "objective" photography. The nearly 80 full-page photographs are organized into the categories of streets, plazas, courtyards, interiors, and exteriors. A brief essay on objective photography follows the pictures.
