The Art of Irazu is Adele K Thomas' collection of artwork which began in early 2006.
Filled with traditional and digital artwork, Adele presents an idea for an animated project through environment concepts, character sketches, colour scripts, storyboards, and lighting studies.
By focusing on the pre-production process as well as familiarising herself with her story and character's backgrounds, Adele hopes to use this body of work to further develop the idea into an animated production.
Throughout the pages of work, colour plays a key role in the pre-production process. It is an important drive behind visual narrative, supporting character, story arc, mood, and lighting.
Adele K Thomas proudly presents her visual journey into the world of Irazu.
Adele currently works as a visual artist/illustrator & flash animator at Liquid Interactive in Brisbane, Australia.
