Take a Canon EOS 450D. Attach a Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. Hit the streets of London. See what happens.
Sounds simple - but the results are anything but. Moving, intense, and personal, Street Photography: London is a great collection of the people of London, their passions, and their dreams.

amazing photos, im really getting into photography and its an expensive hobby, i have a cannon wich im told is a good make, i took your advice and hit the streets i posted my work here, http://www.londonpics4u.com/londonpics4ucom/request-photos/gallery
You get really close from the subjects that you photographs, specially to use a 50mm lens, i guess you use dramatic cropping to edit your images and the book itself.
Whatever the technique, it works, your images and the way they are edited works very well, being a suport in the narrative.
