This suburban book contains work that is mostly from 1984 to 1992. If it didn’t come from the cul-de-sac during those years it’s certainly about that time and place. We still live on the cul-de-sac and through this book you can relive it with us. It’s a mashup of words and photos that were never intended to be compiled; if we were to plan this, each of our egos would have stopped this project in its early stages, and we would not be talking to each other ever again. But, one thing led to another, and we realized how much we encouraged and supported each other’s artistic voice.
