About the Creator
M. F. Walsh
Weymouth, MA
M. F. Walsh RN, CT received her BS in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island in 1976 and received her Certification in Thanatology in 2006. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings providing care across the lifespan. For more than a decade, she has worked as a school nurse and health educator, and has lectured throughout the Boston area on teenage health issues. Along with Emily Lazar, MS, CT, she co-founded Grief Weavers LLC, a bereavement support practice that provides an environment in which the bereaved can acknowledge, understand, and integrate loss into their lives. She is the author of Lessons in Life and Loss, a grief support curriculum for Grades 1 - 8.
