This is a photo album of the best photographs I've taken of temples, nature, and art in Taiwan over the past 15 years. There are over 280 photographs in 160 pages. Many photographs show sculpture inside Buddhist and Taoist temples. There are photographs of ceremonies and processions. There are also many photographs from Green Island, and the Yushan and Taroko National Parks. If you want a photographic introduction to Taiwan, with some brief text describing a few facts about the island and its history and culture, this book is well worth buying. There are not many picture books about Taiwan and the beauty of this island, so this book fills that void. The photographs are mostly of objects and scenes, with few photos of people, and no personal family portraits. The book was produced with a general audience in mind.
