Alina Oswald is a writer and photographer based in New York City Metro area. Her works have appeared in publications like "Art & Understanding," "AIDS Link," "Beyond Race," "Extra-Extra," "Go NYC," "Next Door Magazine," "NY Blade" and "Out IN Jersey, "and also in New York City galleries like Visual AIDS and Leslie Lohman Gallery. Her solo-artist photography show is "Backbone," at 32 Jones Gallery in Jersey City, NJ. Her new books are "Journeys Through Darkness," a biography following the art and life of an award-winning, legally-blind visual artist and "The Awakening," a collection of pictures and poems.
