About the Author
Stan Farrow stanfarrow
Gauldry, Fife, Scotland (UK)
I am a fine art photographer with varied interests, including the Scottish and American landscapes. I am also interested in creative portraiture. I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society and have been awarded a distinction (an ARPS) by this organisation.
I have exhibited my work widely in Scotland and internationally. My photography has won several awards and competitions. Recent solo exhibitions were in 2005 and 2007, and my next exhibition will be in November/December 2009.
My last exhibition was entitled "River of LIght" and featured photographs of the Tay estuary between Perth and the North Sea. A book of these images is now available on Blurb.com.
One of my most recent Blurb books includes images of the landscape of the Colorado Plateau. Many of the images shown in this book will feature in my "Under Western Skies" exhibition, which starts soon.
I am currently President of St Andrews Photographic Society.
