In September 2007 I traveled to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro and go on safari. This photographic essay chronicles that incredible journey. This is NOT a photo album about the trip; there are absolutely no photos of me or my traveling companions. Through these photographs, I have attempted to capture the essence of what it was like to climb the 4th highest mountain in the world and see the animals of Africa in their natural environment.
