This book is written to uplift, encourage and stimulate you to make sure you treat others with fairness, respect and concern. It will encourage you to take focus off self, make others a bit more imporant and will make you feel better about yourself. It will also give you hope when bad things happen. Negative things do not have to control your life...you can begin to think and act more positively when you actively try.

About the Author

Kenneth Patrick
kenpatrickkp  Richmond, Kentucky
My early years were spent growing up in and around Athens, Kentucky, the last of 10 children. The examples of my parents, Jerry and Louetta Patrick, during my formative years, taught me that friends and family were more important than any thing I would ever own or accomplish. I was taught all people are the same. We should love them all, even if we don't like their actions sometimes. These influences were enhanced by school teachers, basketball coaches, brothers and sisters and church friends. I still value these today. It is my desire and goal to utilize my poetry to encourage and uplift those who dare read it. Equally important is the possibility that the words I write point the reader in a new or expanded direction, making this world a better place to live.
