Armed with digital cameras and laptops, 15 University of Florida students captured profiles of Berliners during a study abroad class in May 2009, 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Edited by journalism professor John Freeman, who lived in Berlin from 1968 to 1971.
John Thank you for letting us learn so much about the people of Berlin and continuing your legacy of fine photo journalism through your study abroad classes in a city dear to our hearts. I just ordered a copy and will be looking forward to receiving it. I look forward to your fine work each and every year. Toni Yarbrough Combs fellow Berlin American High School student 1968-1971.
