Ken Kono's incredible life told in short stories from his beginning in 1943 during the bombing of Japan, growing up in rural Haramachi, schooled in Tokyo and then coming to the United States where he got his masters and Ph.D, taught for many years, all while becoming a business consultant to some of the largest international companies. Stories touch on his many friendships and loves and his first and second marriages, his adopted daughter and his struggle with Parkinson's Disease. An extraordinary life told in wonderful vignettes.
Editor, photographer, mountain climber, mother, Kitty Riley Kono was Vice President of Global Cooperation for ASTM International before graduating in 2007.
