This 10x8 inch coffee table book contains photos of New England birds that were taken during my transition from someone who barely noticed birds to an enthusiastic birder and wildlife photographer. It is organized by location, providing brief descriptions of the location and short anecdotes regarding my birding experiences.

As a young child, I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. But as I grew older, family pressures gave way, as my math and science proficiencies pushed me toward a safer career in engineering, although my love of the arts remained.
My interest in photography originated while I was in graduate school but was reignited with the advent of digital photography. I became interested in birding in 2003 after meeting a well-known wildlife artist.
Since then, my birding and photography interests have merged and started to fill my long dormant desire to create art. My website contains the results of my outings.
Having learned of blurb.com I decided to incorporate some of my favorite bird photos into a book that can be shared with friends and family members. I hope that others can enjoy the results as well.

Great job, Bruce!
Beautiful photos, of course, but most impressive were your creative and varied layouts. Inclusion of text no doubt adds interest and content. Three cheers!
