About the Ebook
"The Tree at the End of the World" is at once a brief cultural history, a creation myth and an old couples' good night story to their grandchild:
And Rua?, I asked. - The Redheaded One, answered my grandfather, why, she is still out there, whittling bark boats for a people we have never known to exist, calling the world into existence every day.

The artist and author is a lawyer, and artist and a writer. She studied painting with the Belgian painter Roger Servais at the art school Etage in Berlin parallel to attending law school at the FU Berlin, acquired her law degrees and - with an artist's logic - relocated to New York City in 1997. Her work brings together the mandates of art and law by teaching and educating both fields as instruments for a self-directed, meaningful life. Her art project Circus Utopia Art Press is a cooperation with young artist from both Germany and the US to foster self-confidence and the establishment of hope for addressing environmental and humanitarian issues in a peaceful way.
