About the Ebook
We were in Egypt just before the uprising on a photo tour that will be remembered for a long time. We covered Egypt so well that our armd escorts had not been to some of the places we went to photograph. We saw all the major sites plus a trip out to the Oasis of Siwa in the desert that was only a few miles for Libia. We focused on Petra while we were in Jordan. The walk to the entrance is about a mile and is worth the trip in of its self. We had good weather and good light and plenty of time to photograph this magical place. We visited the Hadrinac Arch in Jersah and a restored Roman hippodrome that was 1,800 years old.

I bought my first camera 60 years ago for 50 cents and two Wheaties box tops and got the bug. I've always taken pictures and now that I am retired, I combine my love for travel with photography. I love taking pictures of people and their environments. My goal is to visit 100 countries and bring back my impressions of each of these unique places. I'm only 32 countries short of my goal and hope to go beyond the 100 before I am no longer to travel.
