About the Ebook
All of the poems in this book were written in my home in upstate New
York during the 1950s and 1960s. During the long summer days, after
my regular carving hours and family duties were over, I would take time
to sit, to think, and to write. This was a special place, saturated with the
beauty of nature, a place of great inspiration for me. These drawings and poems have never been published before.
