About the Ebook
From the Mara, we crossed into Tanzania, through Arusha, and onto the rich Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The wide sweeping plains of the Serengeti then beckoned, along with a palpable primeval throb, and the sense of intrinsic danger which the mighty Rift Valley exudes.
From the Serengeti, we journeyed towards Kiliminjaro, and the beautiful Usumbara Mountains of north-east Tanzania, and from there to the pulsing port city of Dar es Salaam. The expedition then finished in Zanzibar, in the World Heritage listed Stone Town, and soaking up the sun on the pristine beaches of Kendwa.

About the Creator
Col Ellis is an Australian Institute of Professional Photography Master of Photography. He lives in Canberra, Australia, from where he runs his studio and gallery. Best known for his superb landscape imagery, Col also photographs wildlife, nature, and studio still life. Canberra is a perfect base for environmental photography, as it is within a two hour drive of the Australian Alps, the south coast of New South Wales, or the wonderful rural and natural landscape of western NSW and Victoria. Southern Australia also reflects the spectacular changes of the four seasons, with the floral displays of spring, the changing colour of the leaves in autumn, and the frosty snowfalls of winter.
