Anne Kubitsky is a writer and illustrator with a background in biological sciences and philosophy. She was inspired to become an artist after doing underwater field research in Mexico and Belize. Sitting at the bottom of a coral reef with her clipboard, SCUBA tank, and golf pencil (it’s a long story), she was overcome by the beauty and bounty of the ocean.
Right now she is organizing a world-wide community art project about gratitude. To participate, simply write or draw something that you are grateful for on a postcard and send it to:
