Margaret developed the basic art skills working with graphics, sketches, and pastels as an art major in high school.
She studied oils with Caroline Sellars in Land O Lakes Florida and watercolor with Brent Smith in Silver City, New Mexico.
She signed with the Gifted Hands Gallery in 2001 while living in Silver City. She has participated and won recognition as a professional artist in several art shows and competitions.
Margaret began her photography experience with a Brownie camera given to her as a Christmas present from her parents at an early age and through the years has developed her skills by being the family historian. She improved her skill with her Nikon Digital camera and Photoshop editing. She opened" In Plain Sight Gallery" a fine art and photography studio in 2008.
Margaret is currently a member of the Fort Morgan Area Arts Guild and the Shutterbug Photo Club.
