|My Bio||Raised in suburban New Jersey, the Bay Area was love at first sight. Went to the SF Art Institute where I found my destiny: painting and my beautiful wife Emma. Since then just keeping the dream alive, baby, yeah!|
|Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...|
|I have always loved kids books and figure all these years of fine art are just a run-up to my career as a children's book author, if I ever get it together...|

|Certainly not obscure by any means, but I absolutely crack up over Dickens. Not everything he did, but there are a lot of passages in David Copperfield and Nicholas Nickelby where his use of language is really, make-you-cry funny. I think people take the classics for granted because they associate them with high school required reading, but if you're looking for some top-drawer writing and can dig the 19th-century sensibility, these two are must-reads. Moby Dick, too... killer funny. Seriously!|
