About My Business

A professional visual artist specializing in works on paper, Alice McMahon White grew up in Chicago in an Irish Catholic family with ten siblings. Now married with three children, she lives in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood and maintains a studio in the historic Fine Arts Building. McMahon White has had many solo art exhibitions and has worked as a curator with the Irish American Heritage Center Gallery and Beverly Arts Center in Chicago. She has won numerous awards for her work, the most recent in the Plaza Art Competition and American Artist Magazine. One of her works was recently exhibited the Saatchi Gallery in London, having won the Saatchi Showdown Online competition. Known for her commissioned portraits and works inspired by her Irish heritage, her works are in public and private collections across the United States and in Canada, London, Ireland.
