Now living on Shikoku Island Japan, Anthony was brought up in the leafy suburbs on the East Coast of Australia. His interest in the visual arts began early on in his life, as he showed a passion for high school art classes and in particular drawing.

After finishing a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design in 2006, he returned to university in 2008 to study a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)/ Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in photomedia. He finished this degree in 2011. Since that time he has been busy photographing virtually anything he sees.

His enthusiasm for photography began while studying art teaching at university. Knowledgeable lecturers and university staff fostered his devotion to create meaningful imagery. Anthony's photography draws inspiration from the abstract and minimalist art movements as well as on-the-road photography. His photographic style is meditative and inquisitive that aims to render indistinct scenery compelling.
