ARthurine REnee DAvis PIerson is on leave from Sandia National Laboratories, New Mexico where she has over 20 years 3D graphical programming experience. At Sandia, she won the Gold Award at the New York International Film Festival and a Top 100 Producer Award for graphics design. Her scientific graphics are published in over 1,000 magazines. Her current venture is pioneering interactive 3D touch at a New Mexico start-up video gaming company
( www.novint.com).
However, her real love is nature photography where she has juried many photography competitions and taught classes since 1978. She is the editor of Digiscoping Digest which combines knowledge about animal behaviors with editing images in the digital darkroom. Arthurine’s expertise is in visual perception. Her images focus on magnified detail provided by the camera that far exceeds the visual acuity of the human eye.
