I have been writing poetry for most of my life. I started when I was nine years old. I started performing spoken word in the late 90s. I have always been keen with words and images.

I am a native Midwesterner who is contemplative, laid back, and I like to listen. Conversation is key in my life, as well as being a part of movements that inspire, unite, and push people to action.
