Having taught earth science for nearly 40 years at the University of Wisconsin - Madison I've retired to the life of a semi-professional photographer. Extensive travels as part of my University career have taken me to literally all corners of the globe. A largely self-taught student of photography I've also had the benefit of numerous contemporary photographers including Eddie Soloway, David Plowden, and Keith Carter whose seminars and workshops I have attended.
Our small company, Silver Pixel Images, was named to reflect that I am equally comfortable with traditional darkroom/film techniques as well as the full gamut of digital photography, image processing, and printing.
