I've said many times in recent years: "Who would have thought twenty years ago that today I'd be a born again Christian and know the drivers, numbers and sponsors of two dozen NASCAR cars?!?" And now, I can say, "Who would have thought one year ago that today I'd be retired from a wonderful 24-year gig with HP and already have published two books with many more in various stages of development?!?"
Only God knew all of this was ahead and part of His mind boggling plan for my life (even the NASCAR part, thanks to being blessed with a 10-year-old son who avidly watches each NASCAR race).
Now, I'm just trying to continually seek Him and His will and passionately and gratefully run the race ahead.
