About

Ever since I was a young girl of 6 and before my eyes recognized the precise meaning of the black, criss-crossed markings in the pages of the books that my mother read aloud, the calling of the Story beckoned me. I have been crafting silly poems and stories since that time, often taking large breaks in between those bursts of inspiration so as to focus on school.

My most resent motivation for picking up the pen once again came when hearing that my dear sister and her hubby were pregnant with what was to be my first niece. Since her given name was to be a mystery until after her birth, my family nic-named her “Baby Kiwi.” What began as a simple, playful poem (of sorts) morphed into a baby book that a talented artist friend agreed to illustrate. Soon after little Liesel came into the world, her book-namesake was also born and named, Kiwi's Missing Sock!

My deepest wish is to be a wife and mother and to enjoy my part in the wonderful story that God is writing for Himself.
