In September 2000, Valérie Cueto founded the Galerie Valérie Cueto, located in the heart of the Marais in Paris. From 2000 to 2006, the gallery has showcased talented artists as well as participated to many fairs like Artforum, Arco, Fiac, Art Brussels and Art Basel Miami. Since her younger age Valerie Cueto has looked around to find new trends as well as new emerging original artists and has taken a real role as an art dealer and an art appraiser in the art world. In order to reach an international vision and contact for her artists, Valerie Cueto, gallery owner and dealer, has relocated February, 23rd, 2007 to a new 4,000-foot (400M2) ground floor space on 21st street in Chelsea.
The gallery now called CUETO PROJECT is both specialized into creating an inter-generational confrontation between the presentation of young emerging artists and the rediscovery in the States of renowned European artists as well as creating diverse ways to think about our world in confronting almost opposi
