Anthony ap Anthony is the head of an old Statesman family from Cumberland, which is just south of the Scottish border on Albion's western seaboard, and which, in his native Cumbric tongue, is geographically part of Rheged.

Like many of 'the old people' across Cumberland and The Old North - Yr Hen Gogledd - he continues to identify with his native Cymry roots, and in doing so, spends much of his time trying to peel back the Scoti-Anglo-Saxon veneers that have been laid upon the native heritage of his people.
