Shannon Morrow is a thyroid cancer patient, survivor, and thyroid cancer advocate. She is a patient at City of Hope. Her focus is to create and promote more awareness for underserved areas of cancer research. She currently holds a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. She spends her time volunteering at the local community college providing mental health services to the students of the community, in which she lives.
Shannon is currently in graduate school, and will be obtaining her Ph.D. in Psychology. She also works toward promoting the awareness and importance for thyroid cancer research, and prevention. She dedicates her time to improving the quality of life for thyroid cancer patients and survivors. Her goal is to bring awareness to this cancer, and the effects it has on the mind, body, and spirit of patient, family, and friends.
