Diane Lemieux (1963) was born in Quebec, Canada but travelled the world with her diplomat parents. She began her career in international development, working for a Canadian NGO in Canada and China and for the UN in Mozambique. With her Dutch husband and two children, she lived in the Congo, Vietnam and the Netherlands. During this period, she developed her skill as a writer. She currently lives in Lagos, Nigeria where she writes a blog: www.idiommosaic.com/wordpress. Her latest book, CultureSmart!
