I work in biology, work/hobby with photography, and am a published author of creative short fiction.

My short stories are published in 'Bewildering Stories', 'Greenbeard Magazine' (one was selected for their first print edition), and 'AustralianReader.com' (the Editor's pick for March 2008).

I won in the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in 2008, meaning I completed a 50,000 word novel in a month (I haven't been able to get to it for 2009).

I've also won or placed in a number of writing competitions, and won prizes locally for my photography.
