I've lived on Vashon Island since 1979, but have been doing photography of one sort or another since I was in high school, which was a long time ago...
After working as one of the founding Vashon Island Potters until about 1988, I went off to commuter-land and worked for King County for almost 15 years.
It was time for that to end, I came back to the Island full-time, and started doing digital photography in earnest.
I started out shooting Vashon High School sports, and Allied Arts youth dance and drama, and putting the photos up on my web site www.FinchHaven.com
Now I shoot youth sports, club teams, artist's work, you name it.

Finish the Strawberry Festival with a second volume, that of the photographs of the fifteen different musical performances I made it to from Friday evening through Sunday evening.
Maybe do a book of the art that will be offered at this fall's Vashon Allied Arts Art Auction, for which I'm doing the catalog photography... |
