Born in the Dominican Republic. In the US since 1962.
Graduated with a BFA from the Photography School at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1969. Since, have worked as Director of Photography for TV commercials, industrials and documentaries, as well as short and independent feature films. Originally, intended to become a photojournalist then went in to filmmaking, and only shoots stills for personal pleasure.
