Andrew Hobbs (b. 1967) is a British photographer who spent his formative years at the progressive Dartington Hall School where his interest in photography began.
Although born in North Devon, and having lived in America for a time, Hobbs has been living and working in Somerset on the edge of Exmoor for the past 25 years. Hobbs’s love of, and affinity with, the rural landscape and life is reflected strongly in his work. There is a timelessness about Hobbs’s photographs that go beyond mere documentation and captures the heart of the English landscape and life within it.
