Gregg Pohll is a frelance photographer, writer and business owner based in Winlock. He works all over the northwest as a photographer for publications, magazines and individuals. He partners with businesses and individuals to produce images for websites, communication as well as portrait and event photography. He has been the sports and education writer for the Town CRier Newspaper (Flannery Communications, Raymond) since 2007 and occasionally contributes to the Daily News in Longview as a writer and photographer. He has had a camera in his hand for over 30 years.

Gregg grew up in Eugene and spent 17 years as a teacher and coach (basketball and track) in the Klamath County School District in South-Central Oregon. He also spent nearly 20 years working as a seasonal and permanent Park Ranger for the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service at Crater Lake, Redwood National and State Parks, Mount St. Helens and Olympic National Park. He has an intense love for the outdoors.
