I have been fortunate to grow up in a great family. Joyce and I are married and share our lives with our three adult daughters. While they are busy living their own lives elsewhere, we treasure the moments we spend together. Both Joyce and I are career educators. I began teaching fifth and sixth graders in Willard, Ohio in 1975. I have served as a school counselor for the Plymouth-Shiloh Local Schools in the 1980's and with the Willard City Schools through 2009. I continue to teach as an adjunct professor of psychology for North Central State College in Mansfield, Ohio, a job that I have worked on a part-time basis since 1998. I have written two other biographical type family history books featuring my dad's family life experiences and those of Joyce's life. These books are primarily written to serve as family keepsakes. I believe that even common folks live extraordinary lives. I hope the reader finds something to relate to and smile about.
