Graeme is 30 and has been a professional Photographer for the past 12 years. At 18 he began his career at a small agency in Dundee as a printer and an apprentice photographer. At 21Graeme moved to Edinburgh and became The Scotsman newspapers youngest staff photographer. In 2002 he joined Getty Images in London after a short period at the Herald in Glasgow. Graeme is currently working for the Guardian and covers stories from all over the world.

Graeme won his first of 10 Photography Awards at the age of 20 by receiving the Scottish Photographer of the year. His other awards include British Young Photographer of the Year, Feature Photographer of the Year and News Photographer of the Year.

In the last 5 years Graeme has spent a large percentage of his time in the Middle East, Africa and Europe covering news stories and on portrait assignments for publications around the globe.
