About
Raised in the coastal community of Clark’s Harbour, Nova Scotia, it was here that my interest with photography first piqued. During my childhood, I recall warmly, the hours I spent with shoe boxes full of old photos. Life Magazine was an influence throughout that time as well with all those large and thought provoking images.
My first camera was a Kodak 126 and as much as I thoroughly enjoyed taking photos, it was the length of time it took for developing that caused a wan in my hobby.
In 2004, I was invited to travel to Hong Kong, China and Taiwan on business so I purchased a 4 Megapixel Point and Shoot camera to capture images like those I had seen in magazines from my youthful days.
This trip was the trigger that ignited my passion for photography.
