| My Bio |
Heidi from Switzerland. How does it sound? .. My mother's German, and her family wanted a real Swiss name for me. Well, they found one. Time went by and now I like the mountains a lot. The times of climbing are over but I enjoy hiking. After over 4 years of traveling around the world I settled in the heart of Switzerland and who would have thought so, I stopped traveling and spend quite some time exploring my own country. Here's my first book about Langenthal, planned as a gift for a friend. |
| Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about... |
|
maybe Africa? But the slides are not scanned yet. Maybe Hawaii? Or why not Myanmar... |
| Everyone needs to know about these authors and artists... |

If I write Patty Smith, what would you think? Or Bach and Händel and newly discovered Rameau? I read everything Harry Rowohlt has translated, because I prefer to read in German, therefore why not read Flann O'Brien? And I really like J.D. Salinger. I like the video artist Judith Albert, the photographer Romeo Vendrame, the Swiss painters Carigiet, Cuno Amiet, Giovanni Giacometti and many more, and I admire the print work of Franz Gertsch. |
| This book is addictive. Read it. (At your own risk.) |
| My favourite book of all times is Triphammer by Dan MacCall (translation by Harry Rowohlt) |
