My Bio Heidi from Switzerland. This name was program for many years. Now, times of climbing are over but I still enjoy easy hikes. After over 4 years of travelling around South America, Asia and Africa I settled in the heart of Switzerland. A beautiful country. I wish it was more progressive and less poor spirited. I like museums, music, historical buildings, photography, design, detective stories, local color. I admire courage, creativity, directness, sense for style, talent. I hate noise, laziness and absence of visions although I find it very hard to follow my dreams.

Things I Don't Mind The World Knowing

Spoiler alert: I'm thinking my next book will be about...
maybe Africa?
The slides are scanned.
Maybe Hawaii?
Or why not Myanmar...
Everyone needs to know about these authors and artists...
All-time favorites are Bach, Händel and newly discovered Rameau. Modern classical music is also on my list. At the moment: François Couturier.
I admire the skills of Harry Rowohlt and I read everything he has translated. And I really like J.D. Salinger.
The video artist Judith Albert inspires me, the photographer Romeo Vendrame, the Swiss painters Carigiet, Cuno Amiet, Giovanni Giacometti and many more, and I admire the print work of Frank Gertsch.
This book is addictive. Read it. (At your own risk.)
My favourite book of all times is Triphammer by Dan MacCall (translation by Harry Rowohlt)
