About

Brazilian born lived away from her native land for nineteen years.
She did her internship in photography at the Royal College of Arts in London.
Her interest in ethnic cultures, religion and dance took her to Bali, Japan, Australia and Bhutan.
Back in her homeland she devoted time to understanding her cultural heritage, in particular African Brazilian religion and art forms based on the Orixás (primal forces of Nature manifested as deities). She has created several solo exhibitions of her work in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Brazil. She is also a portrait photographer and has developed Portraits of the Unconscious-(transformative photography of rich symbolic content), as a medium for constructing an archetypal image developed from a creative and primal vision. Visions of Cham is an exhibition that has been made in Europe, Bhutan, USA and Brazil.
