Inga McCann lives with her husband Paul, daughter Caitlin, and son Christopher in Hartlepool. Inga studied Fashion Design at Newcastle Polytechnic, and worked for several years as a knitwear designer. She loves local history and is a member of local Hartlepool choir, 'Mum's the Word'.
'Grandma Helen's Wednesday Teas' takes place when Matthew was 14, Christopher was 13, Catherine was 12 and Caitlin was 7. After Grandma Helen relayed the events of the Sneaky Vegetables and the Christmas Decorations, Inga decided they were perfect for children's stories. They were then adapted into this book by Christopher McCann, and Rebecca Harrison.
