Jim Burkett reached international acclaim with his photos of 'Earthrace' that were eventually published in hundreds of newspapers and magazines around the world. Most of his time is spent photographing sports racing, but also includes pro sports figures and Olympic competition. He also has a deep love of animals.

This book was published personally for his grandson, but other books will follow including Sebring International, his journey with 'Earthrace' and the Canadian Olympic team. In 2010 he will be traveling to Colorado, Utah and Wyoming in an attempt to photograph wolves, bison and the caribou migrations.
