JENNIFER KRISTEN graduated with a 4.0 from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gulfport, Mississippi, with an Associates of the Arts degree. She currently lives in Brandon, Mississippi, with her fiancé, Brian Spangler.

She had an interest in mystery and suspense and began writing at a very young age. She uses her personal experiences for inspiration in all of her short stories.

Beauty is PAIN is the first in the series about Detective Nancy Russet. Expect more to come from this series, including the second book, Case of the MONDAYS due out this summer.
