Ever the free spirit I AM BortherJan, which I call myself these days so as to deem myself a writer with a pen name. My travels have taken me to many locales and many cultures, tastes and smells..soothing senses and soul. But ever a drive remained, to search for what some may call enlightenment. I cannot claim such fame, since I believe all beings are just that..or in the process perhaps, in a state of waking up..even doing what we may consider "bad", as without them, we wouldn't appreciate "good". Both sides seem richly represented in my life, but in the end it doesn't matter.
This myriad of experiences is what I have attempted to mirror in this, my first attempt at writing, a muse that has been haunting me frequently, tempting and finally convincing me to publish these poems.
From various travels and events, personal revelations to epiphany perhaps, they represent that time of my life. Enjoy reading!
