I am a semi-retired theologian and psychologist. With my husband, I founded a charity, The Sunflower Foundation (Australia) Inc, which awards grants for the education of indigenous girls in countries round the world.
I am the author of Veiled Desire: Augustine on Women, (New York: Continuum, 1996) and of numerous articles. I am co-editor of Reinterpreting the Eucharist: Explorations in Feminist Theology and Ethics (Equinox Press, forthcoming 2012).
I am married with five children, ten grandchildren and two cats.
