Born on the 55th day of the 55th year of the 20th century (Feb. 24, 1955), Lloyd Higgins has been affilated with the game of football for 40 years. His book Seasons of Transition chronicled his life as a player, coach and administrator from 1967 to 2007. He currently is a high school administrator and a game day manager with the Seattle Seahawks.

...how merchandise, the backbone of the nation's economy is transported by truck drivers on the highways and byways of America. I accompanied my brother-in-law for one week. He is a cross country truck driver. My next book will document the awesome demands of truck drivers and how they push themselves to move everything from food seasoning to automobiles on the roads and bridges of our great country. |

Whenever you buy anything, realize that a truck driver most likely delivered that product to where ever you purchased it. Seeing America in pictures and story from the eyes and roads of a truck driver was fascinating. |
